Jerry Jones
Jerry jones was born in Los Angeles, California. He attended college at the university of Arkansas where he was a member of the kappa sigma fraternity. He was also a co-captain of the 1964 National Championship football team. When he graduated from college in 1965, he was hired as an executive vice president at Modern Security Life of Springfield, Missouri, his father's insurance company. He received his Master's degree in business in 1970. After several unsuccessful business ventures including passing up the opportunity to purchase the American football leagues San Diego chargers in 1967. He began an oil and gas exploration business in Arkansas, jones oil and land lease which became successful. His privately owned business currently does natural resource prospecting. He purchased the dallas cowboys in 1989 from H.R. bright for $140 million. The cowboys won three super bowls in 1992, 1993, and 1995 as jerry being the owner. He has a net worth of $3.1 billion. He is the owner, president, and general manager of the cowboys. Some fans aren't pleased with jerry jones, many fans want him gone, forming many organizations to have him displaced as the general manager. Jones' efforts in the areas of sports marketing, promotion and the development of AT&T Stadium have created a imprint on the landscape of the NFL and the American sports culture. Jones vision and leadership provided the influence behind the concept, design, and construction of AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas.
