Pasquale Rotella
Born on Aug. 8 1974 in Glendale California. Pasquale's parents were Italian and had an intense work ethic. His family owned a restaruant in Venice Beach Ca. where he learned a lot about business. In 1991 he went to his first underground party in downtown LA and the music, the people, and the enviroment had an impact on Rotella. This lead to him starting Insomniac Events (1993), which has grown to be one of the most succesful electronic music event companies. He also founded Electric Daisy Carnival (music festival) in 1997 and it has become one of the largest festivals in the world. Bringing in thousands of people from around the world. EDC has been hosted in California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and London. The biggest one is in Las Vegas and brings about 300,000+ people through out the 3 day event. In 2013, EDC Las Vegas brought in $278 million to the local economy. Insomniac hosts other festivals such as Beyond Wonderland, Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Forest, etc. Other than festivals Insomniac also promotes/host club events, they have hundreds of music events throughout the year. Pasquale has been ranked 2nd in the most important people in EDM. Rotella believes that the company should focus on the fans experience rather than profits and ticket sales. Insomniac has recently partnered with Interscope to create a EDM record label that will aim to mainly attract "undiscovered" producers.

Venezuela
History - Venezuela was home to the natives that lived on its beaches, in its tropical forests, and on the grasslands. They terraced parts of the Andes and built irrigation channels to water their crops. Alonso de Ojeda was the one who gave the country its name after arriving at lake Maracaibo, he admired the houses that the natives built above the lake and called the place Venezuela (Little Venice). Venezuela later became a colony of Spain. Simon Bolivar, with the help of British mercenaries, fought against Spain to give the country independence in 1811.
